Polyester Fleece Tape

Have you ever heard a "squeak" inside a car? It often comes from wire harnesses rubbing against the car body. Many drivers find this sound annoying, and car manufacturers do too. They are constantly looking for solutions. Polyester fleece tape is one answer. Its surface is covered with soft fleece, which acts as a cushion when wrapped around wire harnesses. The wires no longer make noise when they touch the car body. This type of tape is professionally called "silent tape." According to the car industry standard LV312, it can reduce noise to levels C–D.

The backing of this polyester fleece tape is PET fleece cloth - not ordinary cloth. It is very soft and easily wraps around curved wire harnesses. After application, the surface is smooth with no bumps. The back side is coated with a high-performance pressure-sensitive adhesive made of modified acrylic, which has low VOC and no odor. This makes it suitable for enclosed spaces such as car interiors. The tape works in a wide temperature range of -40℃ to 105℃. Cars can reach 70–80℃ in summer and drop below -30℃ in winter, and the tape performs reliably in both extremes. Beyond automotive applications, this tape is used in laptops, game consoles, and home appliances - essentially anywhere cables need protection. It helps prevent wear and damage to wires. Tape thickness ranges from 150 μm to 800 μm, with 200–300 μm being the most common. Widths include 9 mm, 19 mm, 25 mm, and 32 mm, while lengths are 15 m or 25 m. Most tape is black, with a small quantity in orange. We support OEM customization of width and length. Production time is approximately 10 working days.
