Outdoor Cloth Tape

Outdoor construction crews often face a problem: normal cloth tape becomes brittle after a few days in the sun, tears easily, and leaves sticky residue. They need a tape that can last outdoors for a long time. Our outdoor cloth tape was designed for this purpose. The main difference from ordinary cloth tape is its UV resistance. Both the adhesive and backing are specially treated, allowing the tape to withstand sunlight for 8 weeks, 6 months, or even 1 year without becoming brittle. The high-end model can last 6 months outdoors. When removed, it leaves a clean surface with no residue.

The backing of this outdoor cloth tape is PE-coated fabric, with a waterproof surface film. Rain will not affect it. Adhesive options include natural rubber, which has strong initial tack and works well on rough surfaces, and acrylic, which offers superior UV resistance for long-term outdoor exposure. The tape performs in a wide temperature range from -40℃ to 93℃. In winter, it will not crack in extreme cold, and in summer, it will not melt under strong sun. For example, one customer uses it to protect windows and door frames during exterior painting. Normal tape becomes impossible to remove after a few days of sun exposure, but our outdoor cloth tape can be removed easily, leaving no glue behind.

Thickness ranges from 0.125 mm to 0.31 mm, with 0.26 mm being the most common. Widths include 24 mm, 48 mm, 50 mm, and 72 mm. Lengths are 25 m, 50 m, and 54.8 m. Available colors are silver gray, blue gray, green, olive green, black, and white. Bright green is highly visible on a job site, making it easy for workers to locate. Custom printing is available, allowing you to add company names or warning messages. The minimum order quantity is about 5000 square meters, with a production time of approximately 10 working days.
