Fluorescent Cloth Tape

On a dark stage, the audience sees only the actors. But the stage director needs to see marks on the floor: where actors should walk and where lights should point. These marks must be clear in the dark. Normal tape does not work. Fluorescent cloth tape is designed for this purpose. It is not glow-in-the-dark tape and does not emit its own light. Instead, it glows under UV black light. The colors available are fluorescent yellow, green, orange, and pink, and they are very bright. Stage lighting crews often call it "gaffer tape for lights." It is a standard tool in theaters.

This product has a matte surface and does not reflect light. When a camera shoots, the tape will not shine. Many ordinary tapes appear shiny under lights, which can ruin a shot. Our tape's backing is coated cloth, and the adhesive is made of natural or synthetic rubber. It can be torn by hand with a clean edge, leaving no fuzz. It sticks strongly to stage floors but can be removed without leaving residue or damaging expensive floors.

Tape thickness ranges from 0.13 mm to 0.42 mm, with 0.27 mm being the most common. Widths include 12 mm, 15 mm, 24 mm, and 48 mm, and lengths range from 5 m to 50 m.
