Kraft paper tape is an adhesive tape made from kraft paper. It is mainly divided into waterless and wet types. Waterless kraft paper uses coated kraft paper with acrylic or natural rubber adhesive, featuring high tensile strength and good water resistance. Wet type uses kraft paper coated with plant starch adhesive, requiring moistening before use and is writable. Both types support custom printing and halftone finishing, suitable for industrial applications such as sealing cardboard boxes, masking printed text, and packaging heavy items. The name of this tape originates from the early manufacturing process using kraft paper; its non-transparent nature facilitates masking surface information, and its high toughness meets the sealing requirements of heavy cardboard boxes. It should be stored in a cool, dry environment at a temperature between 20°C and 30°C, with a shelf life of six months.
Kraft paper tape is mainly used in industrial applications (e.g., masking printed text on cardboard boxes, surface treatment of clothing, packaging of heavy objects, etc.).
