Pinstripe Painters Tape

Pinstripe painters tape makes those thin lines you see on race cars. The lines are straight and very narrow. This tape is thin and soft. It follows the curve of the car body without wrinkling. Regular masking tape is too thick for such fine curves. Our product can be as narrow as 2mm. The thickness is only 85 microns. That is thinner than a sheet of paper. After you paint and peel the tape, you get a clean color line. The backing comes in three types. Polypropylene is firm and good for long straight lines. Vinyl stretches up to 150%. That is great for complex curves. Washi paper is the softest for very detailed patterns.

The thickness of this pinstripe painters tape is 85μm to 190μm. The width goes from 2mm to 50mm. Common widths are 3mm, 6mm, 10mm, and 12mm. The length is 32.9m, 50m, or 55m. Temperature resistance depends on the model. Standard type handles 80-100°C. High-performance type handles 150-160°C. If you use an oven, choose the high-temperature type. Heat duration is 30 to 60 minutes. The vinyl type has stretchability up to 150%. Colors are green, blue, yellow, and semi-transparent.
