Introduction to PVC tape

May 14, 2026 Leave a message

PVC adhesive tape is an industrial strip material made from a flexible PVC film as the base material, coated with a rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive. Its typical characteristics include abrasion resistance, a temperature range of -20℃ to 120℃ (short-term temperature resistance up to 200℃), and a tensile strength of 25 N/cm. As a cable accessory, it is mainly used in industrial applications such as electrical equipment insulation wrapping and pipeline protection.

Product specifications cover various parameter combinations from film thickness of 0.21μm to total thickness of 62mm, with a standard width of 1372mm and a length of 18.3m, packaged in rolls. The use of flexible PVC film in the production process is an industry practice, ensuring the material possesses good flexibility and environmental adaptability.
